Soft Collision

By Kimberly Omana

Size 36”x24”

Medium: Mixed media on canvas, featuring layered acrylic paint, texture compound, and natural sand, mounted on a handcrafted wooden frame

Where sea and land meet,
There’s a silent tension, a gentle surrender.
The wave doesn’t fight the shore;
It leans into it, softly, again and again.

This piece speaks of love in its quietest form,
two forces meeting, shaping one another,
neither winning, nor losing,
only learning the art of returning.

Café y raíces

By Kimberly Omana

Size: 24”x24”

Medium: Coffee-tinted mixed media on canvas

They say coffee doesn’t just wake up the mornings—it awakens the memory of our roots.

Each bean carries history, fertile soil, and the hands that nurture it. For me, coffee is a bridge: between who I was and who I am, between my dreams and my present.

From that essence, this art is born. Every curve is identity, every line is heritage. Just like coffee, this piece is a ritual of connection—a reminder that my roots will always be present, nourishing who I am and all that I continue to create.

Unspoken Weight

By Kimberly Omana

Size: 36”x24”

Medium: Draped fabric, maple wood, metal hardware

There’s a weight in silence…

In what’s held, and in what could fall.

Metal against softness,

control against surrender.

Each fold holds a secret,

something felt, never said.

Maybe silence isn’t empty…

Maybe it’s full of everything

We couldn’t say.
